First Eucharist (First Communion)
First Reconciliation (First Confession)
Every child who has reached the age of reason (seven) is to be given instruction for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist so that participation in this gift of God's grace may be a free response of faith. Ideally, a child will receive First Reconciliation in second grade and First Eucharist in third grade. Ministers are needed to serve at the various preparation meetings and retreats through out the year. Call Gina Keating at 602-840-0850 for more information.
CONFIRMATION FOR ADULTS
Sacramental preparation for adults (19 or older) who are practicing Catholics but have not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation. Call for details. (Catholics who have been baptized, but have not received First Eucharist or First Reconciliation, see RCIA.) Call Patty & David Pettit at 602-840-0850 for more information.
CONFIRMATION FOR TEENS
High school juniors and seniors who are 16, or who will turn 16 during the academic year, are eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Registration occurs in early October and preparation continues through April/May. Individuals who have not received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist are welcome to join. Call Ryan Howe at 602-840-0850 for more information.
