St. Theresa Parish Religious Education Program is focused on ALL children in our Parish having the right (by their Baptism) to learn about Jesus and to grow in their faith. All children who attend a public school, charter school, who are home-schooled, or are in any other school situation other than a Catholic school are welcome. Our volunteer teachers work together with parents to pass on the traditions of the Catholic faith for Pre-school (3 and 4 year olds) through 5th grade. St. Theresa Parish offers the following options:

Traditional Religious Education Program (Pre-School – 5th grade):

This program is for families with children ages 3 - 10 years old (Pre-School – 5tth grades). These students attend Religious Education classes in a traditional classroom setting.

Classes meet:  Sundays (10:30am - 11:30am) in the school classrooms after the 9:00a.m. Mass. Classes begin late in August and finish up in May.

Home-School Religious Education Program (Special Needs/Circumstances):

This program is for a family who has a child with a special health/learning need or any other medical condition that prohibits their child from attending a traditional classroom setting or for those families whose work schedule is not conducive to a traditional classroom Elementary Religious Education program time-frame.  You and your child will work on assignments at home and meet with the Coordinator once a month to go over lessons and answer any questions.

We also offer a Sacramental Preparation Program for children with Special Needs. (All materials are adapted to your child’s special needs)

Sacramental Preparation for 4th & 5th grade students:

For students in 4th or 5th grades who have been baptized Catholic, but have not yet received one of the following Sacraments:

First Reconciliation/First Confession, Confirmation or First Eucharist/First Communion
